Join the engineering business line at Amaris Consulting, responsible for engineering and consultancy services related to the development and realisation of Buildings and Infrastructure. Projects cover feasibility, basic design, detailed design, technical assistance during construction, and on-site construction follow-up. The activity is mainly situated in Belgium, with projects worldwide in specific market segments.
As Project Engineer, you will join the department ‘acoustics & vibrations’, involved in environmental acoustics, building acoustics, and structural dynamics. The team is composed of specialized engineers dedicated to the management of noise and vibration nuisance and the improvement of acoustic quality in a variety of projects (buildings, infrastructure, nuclear facilities, industry, environment…).
Your Missions
Assist the department with performing specific noise and vibration measurements
Analyse and report the measured data to obtain specific indicators according to standards and legislation
Model and simulate the generation, propagation, and impact of noise and vibration in open and built spaces using advanced and specific software
Collaborate with clients to identify optimal solutions using a problem-solving approach
Ensure that budget, timing, and quality of engineering services are executed as required
Execute assigned projects in accordance with the quality system and H&S rules
Your Profile
Experience with Acoustics and Vibrations projects in the building, infrastructural, or environmental sector (minimum 5 years)
Experience with vibration analysis software
Experience with noise, vibration, and harshness, acoustic, reduce noise, renoise
Master’s degree in Engineering (civil engineering, electro-mechanic…) or similar
You speak Dutch, French and English fluently
You demonstrate dynamic and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
You demonstrate critical thinking and can think out-of-the-box
