At Telenet we are organized in circles & tribes. Every tribe has a specific focus. The Product Journey Tribe builds, supports and maintains the network design, product activation (OSS), customer appointment planning, location intelligence (GIS), logical inventory support, network monitoring and representation as well as product journey design.
The Network Design Tooling team develops and maintains applications used by Wyre to inventorize, design, build and maintain the Coax/HFC and Fiber Network. The teams collaborate with several partners and vendors.
Your responsibilities as a Product Owner “Network Build”
- In general, you enable the team to translate the strategic plans into team Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) by ensuring that the team members know what they need to deliver and that they understand the value.
- You act as a servant leader and proactively support and stimulate people to self-organize.
- In close collaboration with all stakeholders, you contribute to healthy tribe- and team-dynamics and enable effective fast value delivery flow by:
- creating and maintaining the backlog, refining the priorities, and monitoring the progress of the different tasks together with the Scrum Master(s)
- actively searching for new value opportunities and supporting the company priorities (big tickets)
- facilitating of prioritized, focused and structured way of working
- compiling and subsequently implementing a technical roadmap for your domain towards the most recent modern practices (cloud, CI/CD, test automation…)
- managing the product life cycle and health in your area
- You proactively manage the financial footprint and capacity of your team working closely with your Cluster Lead &Tribe Product Owner
- You are constantly looking to improve the speed and quality of your software development life cycle
Our ideal Product owner
- Is customer focused, result oriented and tech-savvy
- Is an expert in stakeholder management and building bridges; has the skills to bring across a clear story and communicates effectively to all levels within the organization
- Has an analytical mindset and feels confident in setting priorities and defining targets
- Has experience with delivering quality solutions in a complex (Telco) environment following the eTom framework
- Has the ability to steer and coach a diverse multi-skilled team and has experience in managing and interacting with vendors and partners.
- Has a master degree and a minimum of 10 years professional experience and is fluent in English, Dutch and/or French
- Experience in Agile working is a big plus
