Senior Coordinator Production Planning – Joblevel 9
Reporting to Manager SCM – Manager Global Planning
As Senior Coordinator Production Planning, you are responsible for managing the production planning of CDMO (Contract development and manufacturing organization) activities, both for the Brussels site and the Amsterdam site. You report to the Senior Manager Supply Chain Management CDMO (Contract development and manufacturing organization).
You are the process owner for planning and forecasting activities within the CDMO department (production of plasma-based semi-finished products). Your main internal contacts are the Production, QA, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Business Development and Customer Innovations departments.
Key responsibilities and result areas:

You are responsible for drafting and following up the production planning for two sites (Brussels & Amsterdam – weekly planning with a 24-month horizon).

You participate and feed the CDMO supply review meeting, and are an essential stakeholder in the S&OP process.

You maintain and report the MPS (Master Production Schedule) to relevant stakeholders on a monthly basis.

You work closely with the production scheduling team to ensure that in the event of an emergency (any faults on the production line, material shortages, etc.) that the necessary adjustments are made to the production plan immediately in order to maximize production output or limit losses.

You ensure that the needs for raw materials and consumables are generated in a timely manner by keeping accurate planning parameters.

You closely monitor the availability of plasma and CDMO intermediates , in order to meet the guaranted production plan. You escalate in time in the event of shortages.

You generate and report monthly production planning KPIs and stock levels.

In case of deviations within the processes under your responsibility, you carry out a thorough root cause analysis and draw up corrective and preventive action plans.

You coordinate and/or participate in business projects related to production planning.
Profile:

Level of education: Master’s degree or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. APICS certification is an asset.

You have at least 5 years’ experience in demand/supply/inventory planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector. Experience within a production department is an asset.

You have extensive experience in planning, data management and ERP systems (preferably SAP).

You are highly proficient in MS Office applications; comprehensive knowledge of EXCEL is a minimum requirement.

You have an in-depth knowledge of the S&OP process.
