Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- A Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years of post-related experience; or, in the absence of a degree, demonstrating at least 6 years of extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the post;
- Experience in identifying and resolving complex problems and assignments, and determining when issues should be escalated;
- CIS operational and/or planning experience in applying an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
Desirable:
- Courses or certifications in IT and risk management:
- ITIL4 Foundation;
- ITSM – Incident Management;
- ITSM – Request Fulfilment and Change Management.
Duties/role:
- Applying a structured approach to develop and document the detail for a continuity plan.
- Maintaining documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans;
- Supporting the development of a test plan and implementing continuity management exercises.
