About the role
As a Medior Microsoft 365 Consultant, you’ll deliver projects end‑to‑end with guidance from senior colleagues where needed. You’ll co‑create roadmaps, implement governance, contribute to architecture, run content migrations, drive user adoption, and build intranets and lightweight applications (SPFx or Power Platform basics). You’re hands‑on, structured, and comfortable facilitating workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Roadmapping & Value Realization (co‑ownership)

Contribute to maturity assessments and propose phased roadmaps aligned to business goals (collaboration, knowledge, security, AI readiness).

Translate plans into backlogs, milestones, and success metrics (adoption, governance KPIs).
Governance (Collaboration, Content & Apps)
-
Implement governance controls for Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive: naming, lifecycle, provisioning, guest access, external sharing.

Help set up request & approval flows, templates, and site owner responsibilities; contribute to CoE practices.
Architecture (contribution & implementation)
-
Contribute to tenant/site architectures (hub/site topology, Entra ID patterns) and information architecture (metadata, content types, navigation, audience targeting).

Support solution architecture for basic SPFx and Power Platform solutions; follow environment strategy and basic ALM guidance.
Data Migrations & Modernization
-
Plan and execute content migrations (SharePoint Server, file shares, classic modern) using tools like SharGate or custom Powershell scripting.

Perform quality controls on executed migrations.
-
Perform content discovery, mapping, permissions & version remediation, pilot/cutover, and post‑migration validation with clear runbooks.
User Adoption & Change Enablement

Co‑lead adoption activities: use‑case discovery, champions network, training, comms, and enablement assets.
-
Track impact via Adoption Score and usage analytics; iterate based on feedback.
Intranets & Employee Experience
-
Build SharePoint Online intranets: structure (hubs), page templates, audience targeting, search tuning, and governance for site owners.

Configure Viva Connections basics (dashboard, resources) when applicable.
Applications in M365 (SPFx & Power Platform – basics)

Deliver lightweight solutions:
-
SPFx: simple web parts/extensions for UI, branding, or navigation widgets.
-
Power Platform: Power Apps (canvas basics) and Power Automate flows for approvals and process automation.
-
Apply secure‑by‑default practices (permissions, data protection, DLP awareness) and document solutions.
Operations, Documentation & Handover
-
Produce solution docs, runbooks, admin guides; perform handover to operations and site owners.
-
Contribute to presales (effort estimates, scoping notes) with support from senior team members.
Qualifications
-
Experience (3–8 years) delivering Microsoft 365 projects across governance, information architecture, content migrations, intranets, and user adoption.

Solid hands‑on with SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and familiarity with Entra ID (identity & access basics, Conditional Access patterns).

Lightweight app skills (one or both):
-
SPFx basics (TypeScript/React fundamentals for web parts/extensions), and/or
-
Power Platform basics (Power Apps, Power Automate, environment usage, simple ALM).

Nice to have / Plus:
-
PowerShell for administration & automation (PnP or Graph exposure).

Purview fundamentals (sensitivity labels, retention, basic DLP concepts) and ability to collaborate with security/compliance teams.

Strong workshop facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Languages: English + Dutch and/or French preferred.
-
Certifications (nice to have): MS‑102, MD‑102, MS‑700, SC‑900/200/300/400, MS‑900, PL‑900 (or equivalent experience).
