Responsibilities:
As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for the functional design and evolution of information systems. On a daily basis, you will

Analyze, challenge and clarify business and customer requirements.

Define concepts and manage the planning of preliminary analysis and design phases.

Perform functional analysis of information systems and translate business needs into detailed functional designs.

Develop functional specifications and requirements to support specific customer needs.

Work closely with development teams throughout the development, testing and production phases.

Support changes, enhancements and new functionalities from development through production.

Recommend and implement system enhancements and improvements.

Analyze service requests and assess their feasibility, required technological changes, resources and project timelines.

Support system upgrades and help resolve issues related to existing applications.

Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are practical and aligned with business objectives.

Maintain functional documentation and ensure that requirements and system changes are properly documented.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field.

At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role.

Proven experience in functional analysis and functional design of information systems.

Strong experience working with Agile methodologies.

Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

Experience working with business stakeholders and technical/development teams.

Good understanding of software development processes and IT environments.

Experience with SQL/DQL, with knowledge of databases such as DB2, MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with JSON / JavaScript Object Notation.

Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
