Could you be the full-time Engineering Team Lead for Onboard Railway Signalling (H/F) in Charleroi we’re looking for?
Your role :
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in installation engineering and project management in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, committed, and multicultural teammates.
You'll play a key role in delivering signalling installation solutions aligned with Alstom’s urban and rail mobility strategies. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering teams, BIM coordinators, interface managers, EHS leads), coordinate installation studies, and oversee the quality and delivery of technical documents. You’ll also manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring installation activities meet the highest safety and quality standards.
You’ll specifically take care of coordinating installation engineering teams and validating technical deliverables, but also managing interfaces with suppliers, partners, and customers.
We’ll look to you for:
- Organising and leading installation engineering teams assigned to projects
- Establishing lists of installation engineering deliverables and associated schedules
- Supervising the validation cycle of technical documents internally and with external partners
- Monitoring and reporting progress on technical document and drawing deliveries
- Supporting QCD reviews for projects and implementing risk mitigation actions
- Conducting site surveys during preparation and execution phases, as needed
- Collaborating with BIM coordinators on shared studies and deliverables
- Ensuring compliance with Alstom processes for installation engineering activities
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying root causes and updating reference libraries

- Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
