SII Belgium is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, products, or devices and apply engineering principles and techniques to develop innovative and functional mechanical solutions for our clients mostly in the aerospace & defense sector.

Developing and detailing of concepts by hand calculations and/or FEM;
Designing and developing and further developing existing systems; such as brake systems, steering systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and suspension;
Proposing and generating design substantiation (analyses and/or complex test setups);
Reporting of compliance demonstration in English;
Contact with suppliers.
You have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive or Aviation/Aerospace design or similar technical expertise;
2 years of experience as Mechanical Engineer
Experience with CAD, FMEA, strength calculations and FEM;
Excellent Creo, SOLIDWORKS or CATIA skills;
