Technical Project Manager - infrastructure / Cloud / Network
Our client is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate technical initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment.
The consultant will be responsible for managing end-to-end technical projects involving on-premises infrastructure, cloud platforms, connectivity, DataCenter services, and network transformations.
The role requires close collaboration with architects, engineers, security teams, external providers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining operational stability.
Key responsibilities
Project management
Lead one or multiple infrastructure, cloud, and network projects from initiation to delivery.
Define project scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
Coordinate project activities across multiple technical teams and external partners.
Manage project planning, resource allocation, budget follow-up, and risk management.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify blockers and mitigation actions.
Ensure smooth transition from project delivery to operational support teams.
Infrastructure & Cloud projects
Coordinate projects related to:
DataCenter infrastructure
Cloud platforms (GCP, cloud environments)
Network modernization
Connectivity and WAN services
Server and Virtualization environments
Identity and access management initiatives
Backup, disaster recovery, and resilience programs
Collaborate with Infrastructure Architects and Engineering teams to validate technical solutions and implementation plans.
Ensure projects comply with internal standards, security requirements, and operational guidelines.
Stakeholder management
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and project review meetings.
Ensure clear communication between technical teams, business representatives, and management.
Prepare project status reports, executive summaries, and risk updates.
Risk & quality management
Identify project risks and dependencies early.
Ensure mitigation plans are implemented and monitored.
Guarantee delivery quality and compliance with internal governance processes.
Support change management and release planning activities.

Required skills
Project management
Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical infrastructure, cloud, or network projects.
Proven experience delivering complex IT projects in enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of project governance, planning, budgeting, and risk management.
Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Infrastructure & Cloud knowledge
Good understanding of:
Hybrid infrastructure environments
Cloud platforms (GCP)
DataCenter technologies
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
Network technologies (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WiFi, Firewalls)
Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions
The role is not hands-on engineering but requires a deep technical knowledge to challenge technical teams, understand architectural decisions, and effectively coordinate technical stakeholders.
