Global Sustainable Sourcing Manager
The global sustainable sourcing manager is responsible for coordinating the company’s sustainable supply chain initiatives. This role drives supplier engagement, assessment and continuous improvement in scope 3 emissions and sustainability metrics, while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and the company’s global sustainability strategy. This position serves as a central point of coordination across internal functions.

- In this role you will lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of BAC’s sustainable supply chain framework and roadmap, including sustainability requirements in BAC’s supplier code of conduct.
- We expect you to monitor and report on supplier sustainability metrics across BAC’s three global regions and various supply chains. And provide support for governance processes including leadership reviews and external disclosures.
- In this role you will design supplier evaluation tools and administer supplier sustainability surveys.
- Next to this you also lead supplier ESG risk identification and prioritization. You engage suppliers to communicate expectations and drive improvement.
- We expect you to provide support on Scope 3 emissions data collection, analysis and data quality reviews.
- Monitor emerging supply chain related sustainability regulations and standards, and contribute to regulatory and customer readiness efforts.
Strong project manager with experience in Scope 3 emissions accounting?
- You combine a bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience in sustainability, supply chain or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or the industrial sector .
- You show strong project management skills and love to take the lead and show initiative.
- You are familiarised with ESG frameworks and standards (CDP, RBA Code of Conduct, UN Guiding principles on Business and Human Rights,…)
- Understanding and experience with Scope 3 emissions accounting/WRI GHG Protocol (Value Chain Standard).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Capable of working independently and gathering the necessary input from other stakeholders and involved parties.
- Preferably you have experience in leading and coordinating multiple global / cross-functional projects simultaneously with on-time delivery.
