Mission Overview:
We are seeking a GIS Analyst for a consultancy mission at a client site representing Keystone Solutions. The project involves the modernization of a geographic portal dedicated to historical maps, plans, landscapes, and aerial photographs. The goal is to conduct a functional analysis for a renewed platform while maintaining the catalog function.
Key Responsibilities:

Investigate modern components for building a new version of the platform, including current or new ESRI components versus alternatives like GeoNetwork.

Explore how multilingual metadata can be reused with minimal adjustments to existing metadata.

Determine how partners can independently upload metadata to the portal.

Analyze how end-users can search and visualize the collection.
-
Identify the necessary infrastructure and architecture for potential solution scenarios, including cost estimates for licenses, development, and maintenance.

After selecting a scenario/solution, detail it in a functional analysis to be presented to the partners.

Develop a prototype showcasing a user-friendly interface and the ability to upload multilingual metadata for a limited part of the desired functionality.
