As an HR Generalist, you will join an HR team that is in transition. We have grown strongly in recent years through acquisitions and are now facing the challenge of setting up and harmonizing our people, processes and tools. This is not a classic HR role in a stable environment, you will be joining a company that is moving, and we need someone who can move with us. You are the operational HR backbone for our employees. You will work closely with Talent Acquisition, fellow HRBP and Head of HR and support managers and employees in their daily questions and challenges. You bring structure where it is lacking, and you dare to take initiative where processes do not yet exist.
HR Projects & Improvement:

Identify and independently set up the automation of onboarding and offboarding processes

Support the launch of the check-in survey and follow-up on results
-
Contribute to the rollout of new comp & ben initiatives (vb.mobility budget)

Support in M&A-related HR administration and integration of new entities
-
Thinking along about process improvements and automations: you identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
Operational HR:
-
Preparation of Belgian payroll (social secretariat) for 2 business units (~80 employees)
-
Preparation and management of employment contracts, attachments, amendments and file management
-
Coordination of onboardings and offboardings – from A to Z
-
Prepare HR reporting and analysis, together with Finance, and translate into concrete actions

First point of contact for employee questions (employment law, leave, sickness, HR policies)

Contact with the social secretariat and external HR partners
Manager Support & Workplace Presence:

Support team leads and managers with concrete HR issues: absenteeism, conflicts, performance reviews

Physical presence in our Belgian branches

Confidant for employees and managers, empathetic but also clear

Signal workplace trends and issues to the Head of HR
Recruitment Support (as needed):

During peak period, actively absorb job openings by assisting in screening and interviewing for your business units (~20-30% of your time)
Experience & Knowledge:
-
3 to 6 years of HR experience in a generalist role, hands on but with an eye for the bigger picture

Experience with payroll preparation and file management
-
Affinity for automation of HR processes and configuration of tools

Experience in a fast-paced or growing environment is a plus
-
Knowledge of or experience with HRIS tools (Personio, Odoo, Officient or similar) is a plus
