As an Analyst – Financial Systems, you will be responsible for the implementation and support of functional processes and technical solutions in their area of discipline while adding value to stakeholders. You will identify problems and opportunities and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the Financial Systems and broader company objectives. You will collaborate with business and IT partners to resolve issues, define initiatives and strategies that maximize solution benefits.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the director of tax and financial systems, the candidate will support the business as next :
Assistance and backup of the manager of financial systems.
Assist with the ongoing Business Transformation which includes report writing, testing design, automation, execution and validation. Projects include
Oracle Cloud module for intercompany invoicing and digital accounting records such as SAFT
Customs export and import module (Oracle GTM)
Responsible for end-user support, issue resolution, along with reporting and control in support of day-to-day operations
Leverage functional and technical expertise in facilitating impact assessments for approved maintenance and metadata changes and process scheduling in alignment with defined business processes
Responsible for the support of on-going daily , weekly, monthly financial system processes including end-user support relative mainly to tax issues
Work closely with IT teams to help troubleshoot and resolve issues identified in upstream systems
Escalate issues within the financial systems team and IT appropriately
Work closely with Finance stakeholders to implement defined enhancements in support of financial processes
Conduct monthly impact assessments for approved change requests to be implemented as part of monthly maintenance
Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline and automate processes.
Assist in the definition of future state development of financial systems capabilities
Responsible for system documentation including admin guides, architecture diagrams, scripts logic, interfaces, end-user training material, quick reference guides, training conference calls
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree - Finance, Accounting, Business or IT
English language is a must
The ideal candidate has 1-5 years of experience in Tax, Finance or Accounting
Proficient in Excel
The role requires the use of many tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft Access, VBA, UiPath RPA, SQL, Python, Power BI. Any such experience is a plus
Passionate about automation and report writing
Some functional and technical experience in finance and accounting
Some experience with the design and implementation of technology tools as an enabler of financial processes
Some functional expertise and technical experience across financial systems and software
A strong project management and governance skill
Practical knowledge of finance and accounting process mapping with application of these principles
Experience working with stakeholders to document and solve business issues
Strong change management, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
Strong customer service orientation
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Highly self-motivated
