As part of our continued development, we are looking for an ambitious, dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to develop our commercial activity and accelerate our growth.
Your Role
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing our sales and revenue across all customer segments and sales channels.
Your mission will be to identify new opportunities, increase ticket sales, develop partnerships, grow group and corporate sales, and maximise the museum's overall commercial performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing the museum's overall sales strategy.
- Identifying opportunities to increase B2C, B2B, group, school, corporate and tourist sales.
- Developing new customer acquisition strategies and sales channels.
- Increasing direct ticket sales and contributing to the development of online and offline sales.
- Developing relationships with companies, schools, hotels, travel agencies, tour operators, event agencies, associations and other relevant partners.
- Developing group visits, school visits, corporate events, team building, private events and venue hire.
- Building and developing a strong network of commercial and tourism partners.
- Prospecting for new clients and partners and developing long-term business relationships.
- Preparing and following up on commercial offers and proposals.
- Negotiating partnerships and commercial agreements.
- Identifying new markets, customer segments and revenue opportunities.
- Working closely with the Marketing team to develop campaigns and initiatives that generate sales and increase visitor numbers.
- Working closely with the Operations team to ensure an optimal customer experience and the successful delivery of commercial activities.
- Monitoring sales performance across different channels and customer segments.
- Analysing sales data, identifying trends and implementing actions to improve results.
- Setting and monitoring sales targets and KPIs.
- Providing regular reporting on performance, opportunities, sales pipeline and results.
- Representing Museum of Illusions Brussels at professional events, trade fairs, networking events and relevant industry events.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive and commercially minded person who enjoys developing new opportunities, building relationships and achieving measurable results.
You ideally have:
- Experience in sales, business development, account management or commercial development.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.
- A strong results-driven and target-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to identify opportunities and turn them into concrete sales.
- A proactive, organised, autonomous and entrepreneurial personality.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, events, leisure, retail or the cultural sector is a strong asset.
- Good knowledge of the Brussels market.
Languages – Essential
Professional fluency in all three of the following languages is mandatory:
French – fluent/professional
Dutch – fluent/professional
English – fluent/professional
The ability to communicate professionally, negotiate and build business relationships in French, Dutch and English is essential for this position.
