Business Development Manager
About the role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching and onboarding new customers within a defined segment and territory.
You will develop commercial proposals, lead negotiations and coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process, working closely with internal teams such as Product, Marketing, Sales Operations and Service Delivery.
Your objective is to grow a specific product or segment by bringing in new strategic and profitable customers, before handing them over to the Key Account Management team.
Your responsibilities

Identify and contact new prospects and leads in defined segments and territories, in coordination with Marketing

Develop and execute commercial proposals and sales strategies for new customers

Manage end-to-end contractual processes with prospects and internal stakeholders

Ensure proper technical implementation in collaboration with customers and technical teams

Lead customer onboarding and coordinate with Product, Sales Ops, Service Delivery, Legal and Finance

Support customers on operational topics (finance, service fulfilment, legal, administration) until smooth handover to Key Account Management
Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)

5 to 7 years of experience in a business development role, ideally within an IoT-related environment

Strong experience in managing complex deals, negotiations and large opportunities

Ability to work independently and take initiative in a global, matrix organisation

Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects

Proven experience in customer management

Excellent communication skills

Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset
