Your role: an expert at the heart of scientific collaboration.
As a Flow Cytometry Application Specialist, you are the go-to scientific partner for your clients and a key contributor to commercial success.
Your main responsibilities
Scientific & technical support
- Provide expert support to clients in Belgium and Luxembourg (focus on Brussels, Wallonia, Luxembourg)
- Ensure installation, onboarding, and optimization of flow cytometry systems and associated software
- Deliver fast and high-quality post-installation support
Training & knowledge transfer
- Train and support users (technicians, researchers, biologists)
- Design and lead workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions
- Act as a true knowledge bridge both internally and externally
Flow cytometry expertise
- Contribute to the design and optimization of complex panels
- Advise clients on their experimental protocols
- Bring strong scientific added value to their projects
Sales support
- Work closely with sales teams
- Act as a technical expert during client discussions
- Contribute to drafting high-value scientific proposals
Monitoring & continuous improvement
- Maintain active technological watch
- Contribute to internal documentation and best practice sharing
- Keep client data and activities up to date in the CRM
Description of the profile
Your profile
- Master’s degree in biomedical sciences, immunology, molecular biology, or a related field, or equivalent expertise in flow cytometry
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in flow cytometry
- Expertise in spectral cytometry, cell sorting, or nanoflow cytometry is a strong asset
- Good command of industry-standard software (FlowJo, Cytobank, Kaluza, FCS Express, etc.)
Key skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to teach
- Ability to simplify and explain complex scientific concepts
- Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Team player with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Fluent in French and English
- Dutch is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly within BeLux
