Quento Technologies seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior COTS Solutions Consultant
Responsibilities:

Evaluate Solutions and Vendors: Conduct market assessments, software evaluations, and vendor comparisons to identify solutions that best meet organizational needs and objectives.

Lead Proofs of Concept and Feasibility Assessments: Plan and coordinate PoCs, pilots, prototypes, and feasibility studies to validate solution capabilities and support informed decision-making.

Design and define the architecture and integration strategy for selected COTS solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, performance, and operational requirements.

Provide technical guidance and oversight during the implementation, configuration, deployment, integration, testing, and validation of selected COTS solutions.

Proven experience in conducting feasibility studies and assessing technical risks associated with COTS solutions, including data migration and system compatibility.

Manage Vendor Relationships: Collaborate with software vendors throughout the evaluation and acquisition process, including product assessments, commercial discussions, and procurement support activities.

Coordinate Cross-Functional Stakeholders: Work closely with business teams, procurement, legal, security, enterprise architecture, testing, and operational stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain high-quality project documentation, evaluation reports, business cases, presentations, and decision-support materials.

Support Solution Adoption and Delivery Planning: Contribute to implementation planning, risk assessment, transition activities, and solution readiness evaluations.

Ensuring that all activities and duties comply fully with regulatory requirements, including the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements

Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline

At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in COTS software selection, evaluation, architecture, implementation, integration, or related IT consulting activities.

Experience implementing, integrating, and deploying COTS solutions, including defining architecture and integration strategies within complex IT environments.

Proven experience evaluating enterprise software solutions and vendors.

Experience conducting market analysis, feasibility studies, and comparative assessments.

Experience leading workshops and engaging with stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Experience coordinating software demonstrations, PoCs, pilots, or evaluation exercises.

Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions and the COTS software market.

Excellent requirements gathering and analysis skills.

Ability to assess software solutions against business and technical needs.

Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies, including Java, databases, Linux, CI/CD tools, cloud infrastructure, containers, and DevSecOps practices.

Proven experience in conducting feasibility studies and technical risk assessments for COTS solutions, including data migration and system compatibility considerations.

TOGAF certification is required.

Excellent English communication skills (C1 level minimum).

Additional European languages are considered an advantage.
