‘I supply essential data for AI solutions’
As an AI/ML Data Engineer, you will work with large and complex datasets from various sources, ensuring the integration, transformation, and optimization of data within advanced data platforms. You will develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data is efficiently and reliably available for analyses and machine learning models. You work with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Databricks Assistant) as a first-class part of your daily workflow.
You will collaborate with a dynamic team to manage diverse data systems, support data scientists with valuable resources, and enhance efficiency through process automation.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems for AI/ML applications, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Integrate new data sources, guarantee data quality, and implement algorithms to generate insights for data-driven decisions.
- Deploy and continuously improve machine learning models in collaboration with team members and clients.
- Manage various data storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) while ensuring data security and compliance.
- Leverage AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to accelerate pipeline development, infrastructure-as-code, and data integration work.
- Collaborate, onsite and remote, with teams and clients to deliver impactful solutions, staying updated on the latest AI and cloud technologies.
As a Data Engineer, you are an innovative thinker with a strong understanding of the value of data, excelling in teamwork and communication while leveraging big data tools and frameworks.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science) with proven experience as a Data Engineer, ideally focused on AI/ML.
- Skilled in key technologies including Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, TensorFlow/Scikit-learn, and Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot), and configuring MCP servers against data platforms.
- Experienced with major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS), data modeling, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- A client-oriented problem-solver with strong communication and collaboration skills. Physical presence for team collaboration and client interaction is important to you and us.
- Fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and eager to stay current with the latest developments in AI and data engineering.
We provide a dynamic and supportive work environment where you can make a real impact. You will join a passionate, forward-thinking, and expert team of data scientists, AI/ML data engineers and architects who value knowledge sharing and growing together. You will:
