Role Overview
This role sits within the Corporate Learning & Development practice, supporting client organizations in addressing management, leadership, and organizational challenges through tailored learning solutions.
The consultant will be involved end-to-end — from understanding client needs and designing programs to project delivery and continuous improvement.
The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, regional headquarters of Japanese corporations, and close collaboration with global teams.
Over time, there may be opportunities to take on facilitator or instructor responsibilities as part of leadership development programs.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze management, organizational, and talent-related challenges of client organizations
Design and deliver customized learning and organizational development programs
Participate in and gradually lead existing client projects, with future involvement in new business development
Manage projects from planning through execution and evaluation
Coordinate and deliver primarily in-person learning initiatives
Visit client sites and attend networking events and seminars across Europe
Collaborate closely with Japan headquarters and other regional teams
Capture and apply insights from projects to enhance future offerings
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
Master’s degree (any discipline)
Professional working proficiency in English for internal and external communication
Professional proficiency in Japanese for collaboration with Japan HQ and Japanese clients
Experience in business improvement, operational improvement, or project-based initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage projects proactively and independently
Advanced PC skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to Have
3+ years’ experience in B2B consulting or solution-based sales
Experience in corporate planning, business development, or strategy roles
Experience working with Japanese companies or in cross-cultural environments
Strong interest in leadership development and organizational transformation
Language Requirements
English:
Primary working language in the Brussels office
Used for client communication, meetings, and documentation
Japanese:
Required for collaboration with Japan headquarters and Japanese corporate clients
Approx. JLPT N1 level or above
Location & Work Style
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work style: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
Working hours: 38 hours per week with flexible scheduling
Employment Type & Salary
Employment type: Permanent
Salary range: €50,000 – €70,000 per annum, depending on experience
