eCarsTrade is an online remarketing platform for used cars. We primarily purchase cars from leasing companies and sell them to small and medium-sized car dealers across Europe. The company is experiencing very healthy growth, and to support this, we are looking for an Accountant .
Job requirements
- Associate Degree in Accountancy or equivalent through previous work experience ;
- You are socially oriented and have strong communication skills;
- A pleasant and collegial working atmosphere is of great importance to you;
- You can work independently and have a proactive work ethic, but enjoy working as part of a team ;
- You work correctly , punctually , and accurately ;
- 5 years of experience in a similar role is a major asset;
Job responsibilities
- You will be responsible for booking purchase and sales invoices, customer deposits, and credit notes ;
- Preparing and following up on payments is part of your extensive range of duties;
- You are in contact with suppliers ensuring efficient follow-up.
- You manage customer and supplier balances .
- You handle the booking of financial and payroll transactions.
- You provide support with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks such as payroll, inventory, reporting, monthly closing, etc.
- You are able to independently optimize and automate accounting processes;
- Experience with calculating inventory value at month-end closing is a major plus.
