Your financial package at a glance:
- Gross Hourly Wage: €15.65 / hour
- Shift Premium: 7.5% extra (€1.10 per hour on top of your base wage)
- Meal Vouchers: €8 per worked day
- Employment Type: Full-time (starting with weekly contracts, option for a permanent contract)
- Hours: Early shift (06:00 - 14:00) and late shift (14:00 - 22:00)
Your day as an order picker at Kuehne+Nagel
Together with your team, you will ensure that the logistics chain runs like clockwork. Your daily tasks will be dynamic and varied:
- Order picking: Collecting goods efficiently using voice picking or a hand scanner.
- Internal transport: Moving goods smoothly and safely using an electric pallet truck (EPT).
- Quality control: Checking if the orders are correct, complete, and undamaged.
- Packing & shipping: Preparing orders and making them ready for secure transport.
- Inventory management: Occasionally assisting with stock counts and handling product returns.
Who are we looking for?
To hit the ground running on the warehouse floor, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience is a MUST: You have proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience with an electric pallet truck (EPT) or voice picking is a huge plus!
- Physically fit: You are capable of performing physically demanding work (lifting up to 25 kg).
- Flexible: You are happy to work in a 2-shift system and are willing to regularly work weekends.
- Language & transport: You speak good English or Dutch and have your own reliable transport to get to the site in Tessenderlo.
