The Community Manager supports the delivery of Impact Europe's membership, community engagement, and stakeholder activities. Working closely with Community Leads, the role helps ensure members receive a high-quality experience and are actively connected to relevant opportunities, events, programmes, and peers across the network.
The Community Manager plays an important business development and relationship management role, supporting member prospecting, engagement activities, community programmes, events, communications, and stakeholder engagement. They contribute to the smooth delivery of member-facing initiatives, help maintain strong relationships across the Impact Europe community, and actively identify opportunities to deepen member engagement, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to membership growth and revenue-generating activities.

- Support Community Leads in managing and developing relationships with members and key stakeholders.
- Assist with member onboarding activities and ensure new members are connected to relevant opportunities, resources, and networks.
- Respond to member enquiries and direct requests to the appropriate colleagues when required.
- Maintain regular communication with members regarding activities, opportunities, and engagement initiatives.
- Support member retention and renewal through proactive engagement, relationship management, and early identification of potential risks or opportunities.
- Help gather member feedback and insights to improve member experience and community offerings.
- Develop a good understanding of members' priorities and needs and identify relevant Impact Europe programmes, events, partnerships, and other opportunities that could create value for them.
- Identify opportunities to deepen member engagement and expand relationships across different Impact Europe activities.
- Support the delivery of thematic communities, working groups, peer-learning activities, and member engagement programmes.
- Coordinate meetings, webinars, roundtables, and community sessions.
- Prepare agendas, participant lists, meeting notes, and follow-up actions.
- Facilitate connections between members and stakeholders where appropriate.
- Support the development of community resources, engagement materials, and member communications.
- Help ensure community activities are well attended, engaging, and aligned with member needs.
- Support Community Leads in developing and maintaining relationships with prospective members, partners, sponsors, funders, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Research and identify prospective members, strategic partners, sponsors, and funding opportunities aligned with Impact Europe's priorities.
- Contribute to prospecting and outreach activities, including initial engagement, follow-up, and relationship nurturing.
- Support the preparation of tailored materials, proposals, presentations, and stakeholder briefings for prospective members and partners.
- Contribute to membership recruitment, renewal, retention, and re-engagement activities.
- Develop an understanding of Impact Europe's membership offer, programmes, partnerships, and other value propositions and confidently communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate information on prospects and opportunities and contribute to effective pipeline management and follow-up.
- Proactively identify opportunities for new memberships, partnerships, sponsorships, programme participation, or other forms of collaboration and work with Community Leads to progress them.
- Capture relevant intelligence from member, partner, and prospect conversations and share insights that can inform business development priorities and future offerings.
- Work closely with the Events & Communications Coordinator and Community Leads to support the delivery of webinars, peer-learning sessions, workshops, networking activities, and flagship events.
- Support participant registration, speaker coordination, and attendee communications.
- Assist with event logistics, preparation of materials, and post-event follow-up activities.
- Use events and community activities as opportunities to strengthen relationships, identify prospective members and partners, and generate follow-up opportunities for the Community team.
- Help promote community activities and encourage member participation.
- Support the delivery of member-facing programmes and initiatives that create value for the community.
- Work closely with the Events & Communications Coordinator and Operations colleagues to ensure member, prospect, partner, and stakeholder information is captured accurately and kept up to date.
- Support the collection of member feedback, engagement insights, and participation information to inform reporting and community planning.
- Ensure relevant member, prospect, and partner interactions, opportunities, meeting notes, and follow-up actions are accurately captured and shared with Community Leads and Operations colleagues to support effective relationship and pipeline management.
- Assist in preparing community updates, stakeholder briefings, presentations, and engagement materials.
- Contribute to the smooth coordination of community activities by supporting scheduling, communications, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure community resources, meeting materials, and documentation are organised and accessible to relevant teams.
- Support the delivery of EU-funded projects and strategic initiatives where stakeholder engagement and community participation are required.
- Assist with coordinating consortium meetings, communications, and participant engagement activities.
- Help capture and disseminate project outputs, insights, and learning opportunities to members.
- Support Community Leads in ensuring project activities contribute to member value creation and community engagement.
We are looking for a proactive, relationship-oriented professional with 3–5 years of relevant experience in community or membership management, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, business development, programme coordination, or a related field.
The ideal candidate combines strong relationship-building and organisational skills with a commercial mindset, and is comfortable identifying opportunities to deepen engagement, develop partnerships and contribute to membership growth.
The successful candidate will ideally bring:

Strong coordination and organisational skills, including experience supporting programmes, communities, events, or stakeholder activities.

Confidence engaging with different stakeholders and preparing presentations, proposals, or engagement materials.

A proactive, collaborative and service-oriented approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and follow them through.

Excellent written and spoken English; additional European languages are an advantage.
