As a Sales Trainer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and performance of our sales teams. You will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that align with our strategic goals and drive excellence in sales processes. Your primary focus will be on onboarding new hires, conducting skill assessments, and providing ongoing training to ensure continuous improvement and consistency across the EMEA organization.
This position is based in Belgium or France.

Training Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and can apply knowledge and skills to a minimum assessed standard to succeed in their roles.
- Selling Skills Frameworks: Develop and implement selling skills frameworks, such as the iSMILE Selling Skills Framework, to enhance the effectiveness of our sales team. Influence sales style and approach to include objection handling, negotiation skills, and closing techniques.
- Skill Assessments: Conduct regular skill assessments to identify training needs and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Training Needs Analysis: Perform training needs analysis to determine areas for improvement and develop targeted training programs.
- Upskilling and Re-training: Provide upskilling and re-training opportunities based on business priorities and individual performance. Delivering training solutions to meet agreed KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- People Development: Collaborate with the ASM Leadership Academy and TM Training Needs Analysis to integrate sales skills with people development initiatives.
- Project Leadership & Enablement Initiatives
Lead cross‑functional enablement projects at EMEA level, from concept to execution.

Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring:
- Clear objectives
- Timelines and milestones
- Stakeholder alignment
- Measurable outcomes

Proven experience in sales training and development.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.
- Ability to analyze training needs and develop effective programs.
- Comfort with assessing and providing feedback on areas of improvement.
- Significant travel may be required.
- Fluent in English; fluent in French; additional European languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, comfortable with ambiguity and conflict, and a self-starter.
- Industry experience in medical devices, capital equipment, dental, orthodontic, or other relevant B2B experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
