WeWantMore is looking for an experienced People & Culture Lead to join us on an interim basis, covering a maternity leave from August through end of December 2026, with a one-day-per-week handover in July to ensure a smooth transition.
You'll be stepping into a studio of passionate, opinionated creatives and designers, a place where culture isn't a poster on the wall but something we actively protect and build together. For this interim role, your focus will be hands-on and practical: keeping the people engine running well during a period of growth.
The role is 3 to 4 days per week, based in our Antwerp studio.
Here's what you'll own:
Recruitment & talent acquisition: You drive hiring across open roles, from writing sharp job descriptions and sourcing strong profiles to performing interviews and guiding hiring decisions. You translate hiring needs into concrete proposals, including salary simulations and positioning within our grading structure. You also understand what makes a great creative hire.
Leadership support & culture: You act as a close partner to team leads and leadership, supporting them in navigating people challenges, team dynamics, and growth decisions. You monitor cultural alignment and studio mindset, support healthy collaboration across teams, and aren't afraid to step in and moderate a difficult conversation when needed.
Performance management & development: You facilitate structured performance conversations, support team leads in giving and receiving meaningful feedback, and follow up on development plans with clarity and care. You prepare promotion recommendations, and you monitor people-related budgets, including development spend, to ensure they're used effectively and sustainably.
Onboarding & offboarding: You ensure new people land well, with the right setup, the right introductions, and the right expectations from day one. You handle departures with the same level of structure and professionalism, including exit documentation and handover processes.
HR administration: You keep leave and absence planning accurate and up to date. You advise employees on social legislation and leave rights, manage reintegration processes where needed, and ensure all HR administration remains compliant and well-maintained.
