The Roof Panels activities of Unilin Insulation have been consolidated in a separate business unit to enable the business to take decisions more quickly and effectively to align better with the market and customer needs. In this context, we are looking for a Supply chain & customer operations manager to shape all activities in supply chain, production planning, technical support and customer service for this newly formed business unit. The team counts approx. 12FTE and is spread over 3 countries. Next to this, strong links will remain with divisional services (transport planning, master data...), where the candidate will need to steer decisionmaking to ensure the right outcomes for the Roof Panels business unit as well.
The candidate will also be part of the Roof Panels leadership team and report directly to the GM. In short, this role will be central in defining both the customer experience and smooth internal operations and hence will be key in ensuring we deliver on the promise we make to the customer.
Key responsibilities:
- Map out the entire customer journey and order to cash process as is, identify friction points and unmet market needs to then adapt processes and ways of working to ensure customer centricity, resource efficiency and an overall frictionless collaboration across teams within the BU and with divisional teams.
- Shape and integrate the existing teams into a new BU-level structure, ensuring alignment and buy-in across the team and finding the right balance between differentiated approaches on market-level (customer centricity) and uniformity on BU-level (efficient and effective interface with operations, quality...).
- Develop and mature the way supply chain, planning, procurement and production interoperate and bring the BU to the next level in terms of processes and tools in this regard.
- Think and act on a strategic level as a leadership team member of the BU and contribute to the overall direction of the business and organisation.
Who are you?
- You have a strong educational background and have experience in supply chain
- No need for deep knowledge or training in construction technology, though some affinity and/or interest is key
- You have a professional level of Dutch, French and English
- You have the ability to motivate and steer international teams
- You have the ability to think in a structured and strategic way
- You are able to make trade-offs and decisions quickly and effectively
- You have a can-do attitude with a focus on execution and making things happen
