Job description

As Operations Supervisor, you will lead production teams and ensure the smooth execution of daily manufacturing activities. Your leadership will guarantee compliance, efficiency and motivation on the shop floor while driving improvements across operations.

Team leadership

Lead and supervise operational teams, overseeing activities such as cleaning, material transfer, replenishment, sterilisation or cryopreservation.

Problem solving

Act as the first point of contact for operational challenges and collaborate with other departments to find solutions.

Documentation management

Manage and review batch records, SOPs, work instructions and other quality related documentation.

Coaching and development

Manage and review batch records, SOPs, work instructions and other quality related documentation.

Meeting facilitation

Organise and lead Tier meetings to ensure clear communication and efficient task execution.

Continuous improvement

Drive projects that improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance overall quality.

Audit readiness

Support internal and external inspections by ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Operational safety

Safeguard reliable operations in line with EHS standards.

Required competences & skills

Bachelor or Master degree in Science, Bio Engineering, Pharmacy, Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years in people management, leading teams of 10 or more
Experience in biotech, pharma or advanced therapies is a strong plus
Knowledge of GMP and ATMP requirements is an advantage
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Hands-on, solution oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Flexible, stress resistant and willing to work in a 4 on 4 off shift system
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of MES or EBR is an advantage
Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
