We are looking for a Head of Candidates & Assets Supply who is strategic, collaborative, and results-driven to join our Clinical Supply Chain team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role:
You will lead and shape the end-to-end clinical supply strategy across development programs. You will ensure efficient, timely, and compliant supply chain operations supporting clinical trials and lifecycle transitions. You will play a key role in anticipating pipeline needs, optimizing supply flows, and enabling seamless handovers to commercial operations, while balancing risks, costs, and patient needs.
Who you will work with:
You will collaborate with a diverse network of internal and external stakeholders, including Clinical Supply teams, Global Clinical Science Operations, Medical Affairs, Technical Operations, Quality, and Regulatory. You will lead a team of supply experts, guiding them to deliver excellence while fostering strong cross-functional partnerships.
What you will do:

You will define and implement global clinical supply strategies across development programs.

You will lead and develop a high-performing Candidates & Assets Supply team.

You will manage end-to-end supply chain setup, including inventory, budget, and planning.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to integrate supply strategy into key development decisions.

You will drive continuous improvement and optimize processes, systems, and supply flows.

You will monitor performance using KPIs and provide expert guidance on supply risks and solutions.
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

You hold a Master’s degree in sciences or a related field.

You bring 10+ years’ experience in a GMP-regulated biopharma environment.

You have at least 5 years of experience in clinical supply chain operations.

You demonstrate strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

You have deep knowledge of clinical trials and supply chain regulatory requirements.

You are experienced in managing budgets, risks, and complex global supply strategies.
