Within Leonardo Belgium, the EU CyberSec Regional Center serves as a center of cybersecurity expertise, delivering security services and solutions across complex and mission-critical environments.
You will join a team of cybersecurity professionals working on the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of security solutions supporting critical infrastructures and services.

As a Vulnerability Management & Patching Specialist, you will coordinate vulnerability assessment and remediation activities to reduce risk and strengthen the security of enterprise environments.
You will:

Lead and optimize continuous vulnerability scanning activities across networks, operating systems, and applications

Analyse complex vulnerability data, contextualize risks using CVSS and threat intelligence, and define actionable remediation plans

Coordinate, test, and deploy critical security patches across diverse and highly regulated infrastructure environments

Collaborate directly with Risk Managers, Architect, System and Network Engineers to ensure timely remediation without disrupting business operations

Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to vulnerability closure and patch compliance

Maintain comprehensive records, remediation reports, and compliance documentation for stakeholders and auditors
Experience / Education / Certifications

At least a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field, would be appreciated, but alternative educational paths with proven experience will be considered as well

Several years of professional experience dedicated to Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, or SecOps

Relevant certifications, in particular related to cybersecurity, are highly appreciated
Successful candidates would typically have

Hands-on proficiency with enterprise Vulnerability Management tools (e.g., Tenable/Nessus)

Deep understanding of Patch Management tools and central deployment systems (e.g., WSUS)

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (OWASP, NIST, CIS Controls) and vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS)

Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and a risk-based prioritization mindset

Fluent in English, with the ability to bridge technical gaps between security and operations teams
