About the role
The role is based in Belgium and will cover the Belgian market and international accounts managed by Acolad’s Belgian division.
As a hands-on, sales-focused account professional, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within your portfolio by building strong customer relationships and actively converting opportunities into tangible business results.
This role requires a proactive, high-touch approach, combining practical account management with direct selling, upselling, and cross-selling activities.
You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, address risks early, and consistently identify ways to expand the partnership while keeping a clear focus on execution and pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong client relationships through regular contact
Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Manage day-to-day account needs and requests
Monitor account health and mitigate risks
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
Keep CRM data, pipeline, and forecasts up to date
Support issue resolution and client satisfaction
Goals & Derivables
Grow revenue within assigned accounts
Maintain a healthy, active sales pipeline
Execute clear actions from account plans
Contribute to business reviews and follow-ups
Track performance (revenue, risks, opportunities)
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements
Native or fluent in Dutch, with good command of French preferred, and solid proficiency in English
At least 5 years experience in a similar account management or business development position, with a proven track record of managing and growing large, complex and enterprise accounts (across diverse industries);
Experience working in the technology sector, with familiarity with tech-driven solutions and environments
Strong, operational knowledge of sales management tools (e.g. Salesforce);
Ability to spend time on-site in our Brussels office
