ImagineY is a startup just outside Mechelen, Belgium. We build Quantus, a tool that helps architects create and manage bills of quantities and specifications within Vectorworks. Our first developer built Quantus from the ground up and is now moving on to a new project. We're looking for a new developer to take ownership of Quantus, maintain it, and help shape its future.
What You'll Do
You'll take over the development of Quantus: a tool built with Vue, TypeScript, and C++ that currently runs as a single-page application (SPA) inside a Vectorworks plugin. Through the Vectorworks API, it generates and manages bills of quantities and specification documents.
You'll maintain and improve the existing functionality while contributing ideas for the next stage of the product. You'll also help transform Quantus into a standalone online platform with its own NestJS API and PostgreSQL database.
Who You Are
- You have a technical or scientific background (e.g. Computer Science Engineering or a similar field). A specific degree is not required—strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn are.
- You have experience with frontend web development, including Vue, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- You have experience with backend web development, including NestJS, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
- Experience with or an interest in CAD/BIM software (such as Vectorworks, Revit, or Archicad) is a plus.
- An interest in AI is a bonus, but not required.
- You are fluent in either Dutch or English (both is even better).
- You enjoy working independently while collaborating closely on product decisions in a small team.
