Certification & Inspection – Permanent Contract or Freelance
As part of the expansion of its Certification & Inspection activities, SECO Belgium is looking for an experienced VCA Auditor with the ambition and potential to grow into the role of Audit Coordinator.

As an External Auditor, you will:
perform VCA certification audits for companies operating in the construction, industrial and service sectors;
conduct ISO 45001 audits and, depending on your qualifications, ISO 9001 audits;
prepare clear, objective and well-founded audit reports;
work closely with the internal Audit Coordinators and the Certification Committee during the review of audit files;
actively contribute to the continuous improvement and development of SECO's certification activities.
For candidates who meet the required qualifications and demonstrate the necessary leadership skills, this position offers the opportunity to evolve into the role of Audit Coordinator.
You have the qualifications and experience to perform external audits independently.
You:
are a Level 1 Prevention Advisor (Occupational Health & Safety);
have at least five years of professional experience in a high-risk industry such as construction, chemicals, petrochemicals, heavy industry or a comparable environment;
have proven experience as an External VCA Auditor,
are qualified to perform VCA certification audits;
qualification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is considered a strong asset, but is not mandatory;
are fluent in French, both spoken and written; knowledge of Dutch and English is an advantage;
hold a valid Category B driving licence;
are able to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of impartiality, professionalism and analytical thinking expected within a certification environment.
