ABOUT US
You will join the International Division of Suez Consulting. The International Division has a turnover of over €40M, generated in Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Most of the projects are financed by international donors (AFD, WB, ADB, BAD, EU, EIB, etc.), for which our teams provide engineering and consultancy services for essential services: water, waste, roads, railways, energy, the environment, urban management, etc. in developing and emerging countries.
Your Team
You will be based in Brussels, working under the guidance of the Head of the Bid Unit, part of the International Division. Our multicultural Bid Unit includes professionals located in Brussels (Belgium), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Casablanca (Morocco) and Nanterre (France).
Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Bid Manager, you will play a key role in identifying, preparing, and managing responses to international tenders. You will support the growth of our project portfolio and strengthen our client and partner relationships.
Commercial Activities

Monitor upcoming tenders and funding opportunities

Research project background information and conduct market analyses

Draft Expressions of Interest and Pre-Qualification documents

Assist in the preparation of technical and financial proposals

Support the production and formatting of high-quality bid documentation

Help identify and liaise with external consultants and freelance experts

Prepare and format CVs and administrative compliance documents

Assist in managing and developing strategic partnerships
Reporting & Coordination

Maintain and update commercial reports and tender tracking systems

Organize and manage internal bid documentation libraries and databases

Participate in technical meetings and internal knowledge-sharing events

Ensure thorough document quality checks before submission to clients
YOUR PROFILE
Language Skills
-
Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken)

Knowledge of an additional language is a strong asset
Education & Sector Knowledge
-
Higher education in international development or engineering (Water/Wastewater, Solid Waste, Roads, Railways, Energy, Environment, or Urban Development)
-
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in international cooperation (preferably with EC, EIB, AfD, WB, ADB), including analysis of requests, budget preparation, preparation of tenders
Technical Skills

Strong analytical and writing abilities

Proficiency in IT tools, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
