Your challenge
To reinforce our Stock Allocation team, we are looking for a highly motivated Stock Allocation Controller. In this role, you will directly impact our sales and margin targets by ensuring optimal stock levels across all stores—balancing quantitative data with the qualitative needs of our collections.
Reporting to the Allocation & Analytics Manager, you will join a team of 6 people and hold a central role within the purchasing division. This position requires daily communication with LolaLiza stores and our logistics center, as well as seamless collaboration with the Marketing and E-commerce departments.
Your Responsibilities
As our Stock Allocation Controller, you will take ownership of the following:
- Inventory Flow & Optimization: manage the flow of goods to and from stores, ensuring the right products and collections arrive at the right place, at the right time, and in the correct quantities and sizes.
- Daily Monitoring of deliveries: requires daily contact with our distribution center to steer deliveries to stores and to maintain full visibility of available stock.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Buying, Marketing, Planning and Sales teams to determine optimal stock levels across the network.
- Active Stock Management: Proactively manage store inventories by driving bestsellers, initiating inter-store transfers, and withdrawing underperforming items.
- Commercial Support & Analysis: Prepare analyses and action proposals for weekly commercial meetings. Provide administrative support for pricing decisions, quality control, and physical inventories.
- Store Support: Act as the primary point of contact for all ad-hoc store inquiries (pricing, inventory issues, stock transfers) via our general inbox, and organize your schedule to allow for regular store visits.
- Process Improvement: Critically evaluate current workflows and proactively recommend efficiency improvements, including the integration of AI-driven tools.
- Team Continuity: Serve as the designated backup for E-commerce stock management and support your manager in building a high-performing team.
Your Profile
- Experience: You have preferably a background in retail; specific experience in stock allocation or inventory management is a strong plus.
- Languages: You are fluent in English and either French or Dutch, with a conversational command of the other national language for effective store communication
- Technical Proficiency: You possess good Excel skills (this is an absolute requirement) and are open to exploring and implementing AI-driven tools.
- Mindset: You are highly analytical and enjoy connecting raw numbers to physical fashion products. You have a critical eye, an eagerness to learn, and a drive to improve processes.
- Personality: You are a stress-resistant, flexible self-starter who thrives working independently toward strict deadlines and commercial targets. You have a true passion for fashion!
Our Offer
- Opportunity : A challenging position at the heart of a young, dynamic, and internationally growing Belgian fashion company where your work has a direct impact.
- Culture: A no-nonsense, ambitious work environment surrounded by passionate, fashion-loving colleagues.
- Compensation: A gross salary aligned with your experience, complemented by meal vouchers (€6/day), eco-cheques, hospitalization insurance, a 13th-month bonus, and a 30% employee discount across the LolaLiza collection.
- Flexibility & Location: A modern head office located in the heart of Brussels (within walking distance of Brussels Central Station), with the flexibility to work from home 1day per week after the integration period.
