As part of the evolution of our European Finance organisation, we are looking for a Regional Head of Planning & Control to help shape the future of finance across Europe. This is a strategic leadership role for a finance professional who enjoys combining business partnering, financial insight and transformation in a dynamic international environment.
Your Role
As Regional Head of Planning & Control, you play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across Europe. You ensure that management has access to clear, reliable and actionable business insights through financial planning, reporting and analysis.
Working closely with the Regional CFO, Cluster Heads and senior stakeholders across the business, you lead budgeting, forecasting and performance management activities while supporting transformation initiatives and continuous improvement across the finance function.
Based at our European Headquarters in Antwerp, you will lead a team of four finance professionals and collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries and business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the regional Planning & Control team, providing coaching, direction and support
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across Europe
- Oversee management reporting, financial analysis and performance monitoring
- Provide strategic insights through scenario planning and business analytics
- Support finance transformation initiatives, including the rollout of D365 and organisational harmonisation
- Drive process improvements, digital innovation and reporting efficiencies
- Support investment reviews, business cases and cost optimisation programmes
- Contribute to post-merger integration activities and organisational development
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, policies and risk management processes
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Strong experience in planning & control, financial analysis and business partnering
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders in international and matrix organisations
- Hands-on leader with strong people management skills
- Fluent in English and at least one local European language
- Experience within logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain environments is a plus
