WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING WITH?

You will be part of a highly collaborative and positive-minded team of 20 dedicated communication people in Brussels (500+ within the group).

You will work in great autonomy and your Head of Media Relations will invest in you while we guarantee you will learn something new every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will support our clients, ranging from one-man companies to the European Commission.
Under the guidance of the Head of Media Relations, but always independently, you will manage a portfolio of clients entrusted to you on a daily basis.
You will follow up with journalists and have regular contact with the press
You will organise press conferences, interview rounds, expert round tables, press trips, etc.
You will write/translate all kinds of PR contents (press releases, dossiers, briefings, etc.)
You will develop effective and profitable strategies based on the real needs of a client.
You will monitor the press and create impactful reporting based on predefined KPIs.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

You have a minimum of + 5 years of experience in press relations (ideally in an agency).
You have a higher education degree (university level) relevant to our activities.
You are Dutch-speaker and have an excellent knowledge of French and English.
You are highly creative, with experience in identifying target audiences & building campaigns that meet the clients’ objectives.
You understand abstract concepts and can translate them in a clear, creative, and powerful way.
Just like us, you are a ‘doer’!
You have an excellent sense of empathy and a lot of enthusiasm.
There is an ‘s’ in Public Relations, so you have learned to build up an excellent address book and the press appreciates you for the quality of your contacts.
Empathy is not an empty word, but the secret to opening hearts and minds. You listen before you speak and have a gift for transcending the aspirations of others.
Experience with clients in the health sector is a plus.
