We are looking for a DT Lead Data Enablement - Master Data who is strategic, collaborative, and outcome‑focused to join us in our Digital Technology Data Enablement team, based in our HQ in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
You will shape and steward the enterprise‑wide approach to master and reference data, turning governance strategy into scalable, technology‑enabled capabilities. Working closely with the Data Office, you will define target architectures, guide multi‑year roadmaps, and lead technical delivery across domains. Your work will ensure trusted, secure, and well‑governed data flows reliably across the organization, supporting long‑term value creation and patient impact. This role combines architectural leadership, product thinking, and strong stakeholder partnership at enterprise scale.
Who you’ll work with
You will be working in a team that partners closely with the Data Office, digital delivery teams, enterprise architects, and senior business stakeholders. You will collaborate with internal technology teams and external partners across research, manufacturing, and commercial domains, fostering inclusive collaboration and shared accountability to deliver sustainable, enterprise‑wide data capabilities.
What you’ll do

Define and evolve the enterprise target architecture and long‑term strategy for global master and reference data management

Translate data governance priorities into outcome‑driven technology roadmaps, investment cases, and delivery plans

Lead the technical direction of master data platforms, including data modeling, matching, workflows, and golden record delivery

Design and govern reference architectures, integration patterns, and technical standards aligned with enterprise and cloud strategies

Guide vendor and tooling choices, balancing scalability, security, usability, cost, and long‑term value

Act as trusted advisor, translating complex technical options and trade‑offs into clear, decision‑ready recommendations
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field

At least 7 years of experience leading enterprise‑scale master data or data governance technology initiatives

Experience working in GxP evironments would be a strong asset

Strong expertise in data architecture, integration design, and modern data management platforms

Proven ability to translate governance and business strategy into technical solutions and roadmaps

Solid understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements in regulated environments

Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior technical and business stakeholders
