INTERNSHIP / WORK-STUDY – JUNIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
EUROPEAN PROGRAMMES AND INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS

Creative District is looking for a Junior Business Development Consultant wishing to develop their expertise in European programmes and international partnerships.
Under the supervision of the management team and in collaboration with Creative District’s staff, the selected candidate will contribute to funding research, partner identification and the preparation of new European and international projects.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor European and international calls for proposals.
- Identify programmes relevant to Creative District’s activities.
- Prepare concise briefing notes outlining eligibility requirements, budgets and deadlines.
- Research and qualify potential partners.
- Build and regularly update contact databases.
- Support outreach activities in Central Europe, the Balkans, Ukraine and Africa.
- Draft introductory emails and partnership proposals.
- Organise and prepare meetings with partners.
- Write meeting minutes and follow up on agreed actions.
- Contribute to the preparation of concept notes and expressions of interest.
- Collect the information required for funding applications.
- Assist with drafting, formatting and reviewing application documents.
- Update internal tools used to monitor opportunities and projects.

The assignment may involve programmes and funding instruments including:
- Creative Europe;
- Erasmus+;
- Horizon Europe;
- Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme — CERV;
- Interreg;
- European programmes covering culture, youth, sport, training and social innovation;
- cooperation programmes involving the Balkans, Ukraine and the Eastern Partnership countries;
- cooperation programmes connecting Europe and Africa.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Higher education qualification in European affairs, international relations, project management, international cooperation, cultural policy or a related field.
- Initial professional, internship or voluntary experience related to European projects, international relations or partnership development.
- Strong interest in the cultural and creative industries.
- Good general understanding of how the European Union operates.
- Ability to conduct accurate research and summarise complex information.
- Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, curious, reliable and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow procedures, instructions and deadlines.
- Confidence in using digital and collaborative working tools.
Previous knowledge of all the programmes listed above is not required. Creative District is primarily looking for a motivated, well-organised candidate who is able to learn quickly.
Pay: €1.200,00 - €2.500,00 per month
