Design leadership & direction: You challenge and define creative briefings, steer design development on projects, and ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across all interior work. You challenge teams to push concepts further while keeping it feasible and relevant.
Project ownership: You oversee the design of projects from concept through pre-production and site phases. You maintain concept control and guide teams through design decisions. On selected projects, you take full creative ownership yourself.
Team leadership & development: You support the leadership of the interior design team, with a particular focus on junior and mid-level designers. You bring structure, clarity, and inspiration to the team, organising and chairing team meetings, following up on decisions, and actively reinforcing the studio’s culture and vision. You plan and lead development dialogues for junior and mid designers. You identify training needs, facilitate growth, and ensure proper follow-up, reporting, and documentation.
Process & collaboration: Together with the Creative Director, you continuously evaluate and improve design processes, workflows, and file organisation, implementing best practices that support both creativity and efficiency. You stimulate cross-functional collaboration with strategy, branding, copy, client service, and project management teams.
Client partnership: You act as a creative lead for clients, building long-term relationships based on trust, clarity, and strong design thinking. You present work confidently and translate complex ideas into compelling stories that resonate with clients and stakeholders.
