The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential skills (ES):
ES 1 Knowledge and experience in contract preparation and negotiation until award phase (e.g.: drafting terms of contracts, invitation to tender (ITT), contract and price negotiation, presentation report, contract handling and closure) in the defence field;
ES 2 Knowledge and experience in defence contracts management in a complex environment (e.g.: commercial aspects, terms and conditions, finance and invoicing, relations with industry, relation with governmental stakeholders);
ES 3 Sound experience in general programme management (e.g.: planning, reporting, risk management, drafting Minutes of Meetings);
ES 4 Knowledge and at least one experience in the field of a large military procurement, preferably but not mandatorily related to vehicles.
You are required to have security clearance at ‘OCCAR Secret level’ for this post. Candidates who do not already hold this clearance will be expected to obtain it within the first six months of employment, if selected. You are also required to be a citizen of a VBAE Programme participating State (France and Belgium).
