Job description
Context
We are looking for a Clinical Supply Coordinator to join a small, dynamic Clinical Supply team responsible for the pre-production activities related to the labelling and packaging of clinical trial materials.
You will join a team of 5 people (including the manager) and work in a highly transversal role, interacting with multiple stakeholders and gaining an end-to-end view of clinical supply operations. This is a hands-on, operational position where flexibility and coordination are key.
Main Responsibilities
1. Supply Coordination
Prepare and organize activities prior to production
Create and manage batch records
Manage process orders in SAP and MES
Perform double checks and ensure documentation accuracy
Participate in daily whiteboard / planning meetings
2. Procurement Support (Basic Level)
Run MRP to identify material requirements
Identify and consolidate material needs
Place supplier orders and follow up on deliveries
Ensure availability of components for production
3. Operational Support & Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with Production, QA, and Clinical Supply Management
Discuss and align on study timelines
Contribute to backward planning (retroplanning) of activities
Provide overall coordination and operational support to ensure smooth execution of clinical supply operations
Must-Have Profile
Experience in a clinical trials environment (ideally clinical supply chain)
Good working knowledge of SAP
Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills
Professional level of English (written and spoken) for stakeholder communication
High flexibility and ability to understand end-to-end processes
Comfortable in a transversal, operational role with multiple interfaces
Nice to Have
Experience in procurement / purchasing (even at a basic level)
Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
Background specifically in clinical supply chain
Ability to identify and suggest process improvements, especially on the procurement side
Ideal Candidate
Medior-level profile with 4–6 years of relevant experience
Previous experience in clinical supply or clinical trials operations
Comfortable in a polyvalent, hands-on operational role
Able to manage several topics in parallel and prioritize effectively
Quick learner, able to gain progressive autonomy
Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable to changing priorities
Important clarifications:
This is not a pure procurement expert role
No need for deep technical packaging expertise – focus is on coordination and pre-production activities
Work Arrangement
On-site role with strong presence required
Up to 1 day of remote work per week (depending on business needs)
