About The Team

Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Logistics Quality Improvement specialist to drive continuous improvement initiatives across JINGDONG LOGISTICS (BELGIUM) operations. This role focuses on optimizing processes, enhancing service quality, and reducing operational inefficiencies within our logistics network.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize areas for quality improvement within warehousing, transportation, and delivery processes using data-driven methodologies.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, standards, and metrics to ensure adherence to company and industry best practices.
- Lead root cause analysis of quality issues, service failures, and operational bottlenecks, developing and executing corrective and preventive action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and customer service, to design and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs to staff on quality procedures, tools, and best practices.
- Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and recommending strategic adjustments.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to logistics quality management.
- Participate in the development and deployment of new logistics services and products, ensuring quality considerations are integrated from inception.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics quality assurance, process improvement, or a similar role within a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen). Certification in one or more of these methodologies is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) is advantageous.
