Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure systems to ensure high availability and performance.

Manage and support virtualization platforms, storage systems, and server environments.

Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization as needed.

Perform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in accordance with change management policies.

Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and projects.

Ensure compliance with company security standards and best practices.

Participate in incident management and problem resolution.

Document system configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

12+ years of experience in infrastructure systems engineering or a related field.

Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Experience with storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and distributed file systems.

Good understanding of networking fundamentals and security practices.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Ability to troubleshoot complex system and infrastructure issues.

Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-
Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus.
