We are looking for a driven and passionate Technical Artist with an affinity for animation. As part of our crew you'll be creating graphical assets for use in games as well as rig, skin and animate everything from characters to interfaces.
Due to the nature of our games you'll be able to get crazy creative with your work, so an active imagination is recommended. A great sense of humour will definitely come in handy. Knowledge of traditional animation is a plus.
You need to know how to set priorities and make compromises to catch a deadline, as well as be able to deal with criticism. Despite being part of a team, you'll spend most of your time working independently, so being able to plan out your work is an absolute must.
As our working environment is primarily Dutch-speaking, being able to follow Dutch conversations is important - not only to connect with your team, but also to understand discussions about artwork, receive directions for follow-up tasks, and collaborate effectively in day-to-day work.
We expect you to take initiative and help out your colleagues whenever you can and be critical of both your own work and theirs whenever you must. A positive attitude is totally the best!
- Concept Work
- Designing, Painting and Animating 2D Assets
- Scripting Real-Time 2D/3D Rendered Games
- Occasional work on website assets
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop
- Rigging, Skinning and Animating in any 2D package, preferably Spine
- Basic knowledge of programming and hands-on experience with one or more (script-) languages is a plus
- Working knowledge of Illustrator, AfterEffects and Video Editing Software is a plus
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
- Experience in sound design is a plus
- Speaking/understanding Dutch is a plus
