The Alliance for Renewable Electrification (ARE) is the global industry platform that federates and supports renewable energy companies to win business, shape policy and scale deployment across emerging markets. ARE operates across Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America & the Caribbean.
ARE is currently looking for a motivated and dynamic Communications & Events Intern to support its communications and event activities.
Main Responsibilities
Create content for digital marketing and communications channels
Support communications for events and webinars
Assist with email campaigns and weekly alerts
Support with organising ARE’s flagship event
Support with coordinating event service providers
Support with liaising with event participants
Support with managing the event platform and participants list
Provide ad hoc administrative support
Support the management of the jobs and tenders platforms on the ARE website
Profile
Currently studying or recently graduated in communications, marketing, or a related field Eligible to undertake an internship in Belgium Interested in clean energy and renewable energy topics
Eager to learn with a proactive and hands on attitude
Fluent in English; knowledge of French is considered an asset
Knowledge of Canva is required
Knowledge of WordPress and Constant Contact, or other mailing tools, is considered an asset
