Job description
- As the HSE Expert - Wind Energy you will be the liaison between the Regional HSE and Global HSE department and be implementing global, regional and country-specific HSE initiatives, monitoring compliance, and driving improvements in emergency response.
- You’ll be promoting and supporting a proactive safety culture within the company, providing guidance and engagement to ensure a safe work environment.
- As the HSE Expert – Wind Energy you’ll be leading the implementation of HSE standards and systems from headquarters to the region, including risk and incident management, adapting to local regulatory requirements.
- You’ll be developing and supervising environmental and sustainability projects, ensuring the collection and reporting of data for sustainability reports, and driving initiatives in recycling, circular economy, and biodiversity.
- As the HSE Expert – Wind Energy you’ll be monitoring regulatory changes in safety and environment, initiating mitigation strategies, and ensuring open communication with project and service directors, including developing internal communications on incidents, lessons learned, and best practices.
Your Profile
- You have relevant HSE qualifications, with extensive experience in occupational safety topics.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to balance time-sensitive priorities and navigate cross-cultural boundaries.
- Experience in matrix organizations, ideally in both construction and O&M activities within the Wind sector, Oil and Gas, or other heavy industries.
- Proven experience in implementing HSE initiatives and management systems compliant with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Highly articulate with excellent English communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and experience in engaging and leading others.
