As part of the development of its Benelux activities, our partner is currently looking for an Account Manager, M/F/X, to strengthen its presence in Flanders and support its commercial growth.
Your mission:
As an Account Manager, you play a key role in developing your assigned region. Acting as the interface between customers and internal teams, you build strong, long-term relationships while delivering tailored technical solutions.
You actively contribute to business growth by combining a structured commercial approach with solid technical understanding of pump solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and expand the customer portfolio by strengthening existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Actively prospect new clients within industrial and institutional environments.
- Meet sales and order intake targets in line with market expectations and company objectives.
- Understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions related to pumps and rotating equipment.
- Provide accurate and relevant technical advice based on specific applications.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and contribute to pricing decisions.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and competitiveness of all offers.
- Qualify leads in close collaboration with internal teams.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of opportunities, quotations, and sales pipeline.
- Act as the main internal point of contact for your customers.
- Translate customer needs clearly to technical and operational teams.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Participate in internal meetings, order reviews, and training programs.
- Work closely with different departments to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
- 3–5 years of experience in sales or service within an industrial environment (ideally pumps or rotating equipment)
- Strong commercial mindset combined with a proactive, service-oriented approach
- Ability to understand technical challenges and translate them into solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fluency in Dutch and English; French is an asset
- Good command of MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly within Flanders
