Product Manager Press EMEA + South America
DO YOU SPEAK PAPER?
Can you talk hydraulic load, press dewatering, machine clothing and sheet quality without reaching for ChatGPT? Then we should probably talk. We’re looking for a paper industry professional who can:
- Drive profitable growth for Press felts across EMEA & South America through market, customer, product and pricing strategies.
- Own the product lifecycle, from identifying market needs and developing new products to trials, launches and ongoing optimization.
- Manage product performance and profitability, including margins, pricing, quality, claims and corrective improvement actions.
- Provide technical and application leadership, supporting customer proposals, new installations, troubleshooting and successful trials.
- Monitor customers, markets and competitors, translating insights into new opportunities, product strategies and effective sales and marketing tools.
YOU’LL BRING
- Demonstrable experience within the paper and/or pulp & paper industry combined with a technical and practical understanding of the papermaking process
- The confidence to discuss topics such as forming, pressing, machine efficiency, sheet quality and runnability
- The ability to build relationships from the machine floor to mill management
- A willingness to travel regularly and spend time with customers where the action happens
- Your fluency in English and paper lexicon will help you communicate clearly across cultures and technical disciplines
