Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system oversight
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to maximize sales opportunities
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff members to build a high-performing team with strong product knowledge
- Implement effective marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales
- Monitor sales performance using retail math and management reports; adjust strategies accordingly
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams and managing store operations
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory control
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management with experience in POS systems, cash handling, pricing, merchandising, and stock management
- Ability to handle basic math calculations accurately for cash register balancing and inventory tracking
- Experience with wireless sales or grocery store operations is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across shift management and administrative tasks
