The MITO (Memory Innovation & Technology Optimization) group brings together 3 teams to advance memory innovation co-optimizing advanced technology options, circuits and micro-architectures. This involves modelling and simulations from technology definition, macro design, to system level design, and prototyping with imec technology on hardware. This group addresses new technology and system challenges, in particular memory and options (HBF, embedded DRAM, DRAM on logic, block memories, ferro based memories,...).
As MITO Group Lead, you will be responsible for the leadership, development and organization of this multidisciplinary research group. Your primary focus is to build an engaged, talented, efficient, high impact, collaborative and inclusive organization. You will ensure that people, capabilities and technical expertise are aligned with the strategic needs. You will drive collaboration across teams, groups and departments, fostering an environment where scientific excellence, efficient operations and innovation get to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that technology, circuit, architecture, prototyping and system-level expertise are leveraged collectively to address strategic challenges and opportunities.
- Drive organizational development, hiring, talent management and succession planning. Ensure effective allocation of people and resources across programs and strategic priorities. Ensure capabilities and skills are in place ahead of future strategic and business needs.
- Lead, coach and develop the teams within the group, fostering engagement, growth and scientific excellence, consolidation of methodologies and infrastructures.
- Foster strong scientific leadership across the group.
- Build and maintain close partnerships between MITO and the memory-related sectors, ensuring strong alignment between research activities, strategic roadmaps and sector needs. Translate sector priorities into a coherent MITO strategy, capabilities roadmap and talent plan. Promote collaboration across programs, departments and disciplines.
- Strengthen collaboration: within department, with other imec groups and departments, and with external partners.
- Strengthen the broader memory ecosystem through active engagement with internal and external stakeholders, partners and academic collaborations.
