Mervers Benelux n.v. is a growing company with more than 50 years of experience in manufacturing of industrial agitators for leading industry applications such as food-, (petro)chemical-, wastewater applications, …

Our agitators are manufactured in Antwerp (Waasland) and distributed World-Wide.

As a Metal Lathe Operator, you will be part of the production team. This team is responsible for the manufacturing of machine parts for our industrial agitators and for various tailor-made machine parts. For the manufacturing you can use the latest technologies on our turning and milling machines.

Tasks & responsibilities

Operate one or more turning and/or milling machines (Heidenhain Control) depending on your experience;
Ensure optimal/efficient operation and output of these machines;
Check whether the desired quality and quantity of the output of the machines is achieved;
Responsible for the preventive maintenance of the machines to avoid loss of time;
Maintaining prescribed quality and efficiency data. – Reports to the foreman;

Your profile

High school degree or equally based on working experience;
Can independently operate one or more machines with or without clear work instructions;
Organizing the production on the machines;
Work together with colleagues.
